If you cannot edit data because the table does not contain a primary key, you can define a temporary key so that you can edit the data.
Note: This topic focuses on information that may be unfamiliar to you. It does not include all step and field descriptions.
To edit data in a read-only grid
Click the red indicator in the lower left of the data.
Accept the defaults to begin editing data or review the following:
Key Columns |
Select the columns on which you want to add a temporary key for editing purposes. |
Updatable Columns |
Select which columns are affected by updates and inserts. |
Tip: You can select the drop-down beside to switch the data back to read-only mode or edit the settings.
