Edit Duplicate Data

You can locate duplicate rows of data in a table and can either edit the duplicate row or delete it from the table.

To edit duplicate data

1. Select the Tables node in the Object Explorer.

2. Right-click a table and select Tasks | Edit Duplicate Data to open a data grid in a new window that displays only duplicate rows of data.

3. Select one of the following:

   • Edit the data so it is no longer a duplicate.
   • Select one or more rows and click — to remove those rows.

4. Click to save your changes.

5. Click Submit to commit these changes to the database.

Tip: Click Refresh to re-query the database at anytime.

Note: You can also edit duplicated data with Data Cleansing and Data Browser actions.
