To set keyboard shortcuts
Select Tools | Options |Environment | Keyboard.
Review the following for additional information:
Current keyboard scheme |
Select the scheme that contains the shortcut key mapping you want to use from the list. Note: You cannot modify any keyboard shortcuts in the default keyboard scheme, which is read-only. To modify shortcuts, click Save as to create a new scheme. |
Display commands containing |
Enter a term or partial term to locate from the list of commands. |
Assign keyboard shortcut |
Specify the keyboard keys you want to use as a shortcut and then click Assign. You can specify up to two keyboard shortcuts by placing a comma between the two sets of shortcuts. |
Tips:
To customize Toad to use the shortcut keys of existing applications such as Toad for Oracle, SQL Navigator, or Query Analyzer use the Configuration Wizard (Tools | Configuration Wizard).
You cannot assign a keyboard shortcut that is permanently set as a default Windows shortcut such as F10.
Any shortcut you assign to an action applies to all databases for that action.
Click Report to display a report of the current keyboard shortcuts.
