Optimize SQL

You can open the SQL Optimizer with or without copying a SQL statement.

Note: This feature is available only in Toad Editions that include the SQL Optimizer. See the SQL Optimizer help for more information.

To launch SQL Optimizer and copy a SQL statement entered in the Editor

  1. Enter a SQL statement in the Editor.

  2. Click to manually tune the statement.

    or

    Click to automatically tune the statement.
