Create Remote Service Bindings

Remote Service Bindings associate a user on the local database and the user's Certificate (which authenticates the user's identity) with a remote service.

Note: This topic focuses on information that may be unfamiliar to you. It does not include all step and field descriptions.

To define remote service bindings

Select the Remote Service Bindings tab in the lower pane of Service Broker window.
Create or alter a remote service binding.

Review the following for additional information:

Remote service name	Specify the remote service to bind to the user specified in the User Name field.
User name	Specify the user who owns the certificate associated with the remote service.
