About Job Steps

This topic focuses on information that may be unfamiliar to you. It does not include all step and field descriptions.

Note: At least one job step must be associated with a job.

To define job steps

Complete the fields as necessary. Review the following for additional information:

Job step list

Displays a list of steps currently associated with this job.

Tip: You can double-click a job step to edit it.

Move step

Click the arrows to move the step up or down in the list.

Start step

Select the job step at which you want execution to begin the next time the job runs.

Tip: Select a job step and click Delete to remove a step from the list.
