Tools Options

This topic focuses on information that may be unfamiliar to you. It does not include all step and field descriptions.

To set tool options

  1. Click | Options (ALT+T+O) and select Editor | Tools.

  2. Review the following for additional information:

    SQL Recall

    Description

    Number of statements to display

    Enter the maximum number of executed statements to display in the Executed tab of the SQL Recall window. When the maximum number is reached, Toad overwrites the first statement in the list.

    Default: 100

    View object at cursor

    Select this checkbox to display database objects in a Document window or the Object Details window when pressing SHIFT+F4.

    Default: Object Details

    Note: These options apply to the Editor window only. You can set options that apply to all components (Editor, Database Explorer, etc.) that display query results in the Script Result Options page. See Script Result Options for more information.
