Drag and Drop Options

Use these options to set the default action that occurs when dragging objects from the Database Explorer or Object Explorer into the Editor.

Note: This topic focuses on information that may be unfamiliar to you. It does not include all step and field descriptions.

To set drag-and-drop options

Review the following for additional information:

Type

Select an object type for which you want to assign a default action.

Default Action

Associate an action with this object when dragging and dropping it into the Editor.

Default: Insert name

Use fully qualified object names

Prefix the schema name and owner when performing a default action with this object.

Default: Cleared

Tips:

To navigate to the directory where option settings are stored, click the Application Data Directory link in the About dialog (Help | About).
To search for a partial or complete option name or value, use the Search field at the bottom of each Options page. See About Options for more information.
