Save Activities as Templates

You can save an activity and its properties as a template to use in other Automation scripts. For example, if you frequently use the same subject, message, and address list for email, you can save those properties in a template. You can then use the template in your Automation scripts.

To save an activity as a template

  1. Add an activity to the workflow in the design pane.

  1. Specify the properties you want to save for the selected activity.

  1. Right-click the activity and select Save As Template. The Template toolbox displays once you save the first template.
