Execute Dynamic Management Views (DMVs)

You can use DMVs to run traces and review SQL activity.

Note: This topic focuses on information that may be unfamiliar to you. It does not include all step and field descriptions.

To execute a DMV

  1. Select DBA Queries in the Code Snippets window (CTRL+ALT+T).

  2. Double-click a DMV from the SQL Activity or Trace folder to open it in the Editor.
  3. Click (F5).
