To set diagramming options

  1. Click | Options (ALT+T+O) and select Database |Diagramming.

  2. Review the following for additional information:

    Database Diagram

    Description

    Default table size

Select the width and height of the panel that displays when adding tables to the diagram.

    Default: W = 250; H = 200

    Maximum references depth

Enter the maximum number of levels of referential tables to include.

Caution: The more levels of referential tables you include, the more complicated the diagram, and the longer Toad takes to create the diagram.

    Default: 1

Maximum number of objects to add

Enter the maximum number of objects, including referential objects, to add to the diagram. If you add more than the maximum number, Toad informs you that you exceeded the maximum number, and lets you either add all objects or limit the objects to this value.

    Default: 50

    Reporting

    Description

    Use custom report logo

Replace the Toad logo that displays in the top right of a data report with a custom logo.

    Default: Cleared

    FileDescription

Mark diagram objects that differ from the database objects when loading a file

Select this checkbox to add an * to the right of a table name if the table has been updated since you saved the Database Diagram (TER) or Query Builder (TSM) file.
