This topic focuses on information that may be unfamiliar to you. It does not include all step and field descriptions.
Caution: Any changes you make to the dictionary are applied immediately, even though you have not applied the changes.
To add a new dictionary entry

Options
Select the category for which you want to add a SQL script. If you want to add a new category, click New and modify the selected entry with the following information:
Quest.Toad.database_provider.category_name.script_name
Review the following for additional information:
Selection |
If you do not want to define a database version, select New Version. Otherwise, leave this field blank and the database:version information is added when you complete the fields. |
Database |
If you want this script to apply to any database, select Any. Otherwise, select your database provider. |
Version |
If you do not want a database version associated with this script, leave this field blank. Otherwise, enter the database version associated with this script. |
SQL Script |
Enter the SQL script in the text box. |
Note: You can modify an entry at any time by updating the fields. |
Tips:
To navigate to the directory where option settings are stored, click the Application Data Directory link in the About dialog (Help | About).
To search for a partial or complete option name or value, use the Search field at the bottom of each Options page. See About Options for more information.
