Group Sessions

Grouping sessions in the Session Browser allows you to easily view and work with information from multiple hosts. You can group sessions by one or more columns displayed in the Session Browser. For example, grouping by connection and login lets you monitor processes for users by server.

Notes:

The Session Browser saves the grouping options you select when you close the browser window or exit Toad.
This topic focuses on information that may be unfamiliar to you. It does not include all step and field descriptions.

To group sessions

Right-click the header row in the Session Browser and select Show Group by Box.
Select and drag the column headers for the columns you want to group by to the group by box.

Tips:
- Drag columns to the group by box in the order you want the columns grouped.
- Right-click a column name in the group by box and select UnGroup to stop grouping by the selected column.
- You can also filter the information displayed in each column of the Session Browser. See Filter Data for more information.
