Create Support Bundles

You can create a support bundle and send it to Quest support or to the Toad for Data Analysts community Web site (peer-to-peer support). The support bundle provides information (about your application and the database) that is used to help troubleshoot problems.

To create a support bundle

Select Help | Support Bundle. It may take time for Toad to generate the support bundle depending on your system configuration.

Select from the following options:

	Email the support bundle to Quest support.
	Create a Support case and upload the support bundle to Quest's customer support site, SupportLink, at http://support.quest.com.

Notes:

If Microsoft Outlook is not configured, an Internet Connection wizard displays. If you do not want to configure an email connection, you can click Cancel in the wizard and then select File | Save to save the generated support bundle.
To refresh the contents of an open support bundle window, press F5.
If you are using a freeware version, post your question and support bundle to the Toad for SQL Server community Web site.
