Use the Web Browser to view web pages or files on your local computer. From the browser, you can view the following:

Enter a search term in the Quick Search field and click

Tips:

You can view the progress of a page loading in a progress bar located on the lower right side of the status bar. While loading, you can click the progress bar to open the Background Processes window. See Stop Background Processes for more information.
You can customize the page that loads on startup in Tools | Options | Environment | General.
