Define Contracts

A contract is an agreement between participants of conversations that specifies the types of messages used in a conversation and which participant (the initiator, target or any) can send messages of a particular type.

To define contracts

  1. Select Contracts from a SQL Server instance.

  2. Create or Edit a Contract.

  3. Review the following for additional information:

    Message Type Name

Select the checkbox next to each message type to use in the contract.
