Dialog Security Configuration Wizard

The Dialog Security Configuration wizard sets up dialog level security for the Service Broker. Dialog security applies to a specific conversation, between two services. When a conversation uses dialog security, the Service Broker encrypts all messages sent outside a SQL Server instance.

Note: Before you begin, ensure that you have created the Service Broker services on both the initiating and target SQL Server instances.

To configure dialog security

Select Services for a database from the tree.
Right-click the initiating service in the Overview page and select Dialog Security Configuration Wizard.
Complete the wizard.
