Event Notification Application Wizard

The Event Notification Application wizard lets you set up subscriptions to event generators so that notifications of events are received by the required targets.

You can select the event generator to subscribe to (a SQL Server, database or queue) and select the event types for which you want to receive notifications.

To create a subscription to an event

  1. Right-click the server or database for initiating the event and select Event Notification Application Wizard.

    Tip: To subscribe to queue events, start the wizard from the database hosting the queue.

  2. Complete the wizard.
