Configure Service Broker Properties

This topic focuses on information that may be unfamiliar to you. It does not include all step and field descriptions.

To configure Service Broker properties for a database

  1. Right-click a database and select Service Broker Configuration.

  2. Review the following for additional information:

    GUID Service Broker

    Identifies the database that hosts the target service.

    Create new Service Broker

    Create a new Service Broker for the current database. All existing conversations are removed and no end window messages are produced.

    Receive error messages

    Send an error message to all conversations in the database when the database is attached. Use this option to facilitate normal cleanup of conversations.
